Authorities are searching for a driver who struck and killed an Iowa firefighter as he was bicycling early Monday in jap Iowa.
Devin Estabrook, 49, of Letts, was headed northbound at about four:50 a.m. on U.S. Freeway 61 close to 41st Road South in Muscatine when a car going the identical route struck him, then fled the scene, the Muscatine Police Division mentioned in a information launch.
Estabrook, who was airlifted to a hospital in Peoria, Illinois, and later pronounced useless, was a member of the Grandview Fireplace Division, officers with the town posted on their Fb web page.
